Warby Parker Eye Wear

Last week I was contacted by a representative of Warby Parker Designer Frames and Online Eyeglasses. As you know from my previous fashion posts, I am a sucker for fabulous spectacles even though I do not need to wear glasses (shhhh-shhh) so I was immediately intrigued. For those of you who aren't familiar with Warby Parker, they offer vintage-inspired hand crafted prescription glasses and sun glasses (which also are available in non prescription) that start at $95. Not only does this price include a pair for yourself, for every pair bought, Warby Parker donates a pair of glasses to a person in need.

I ordered all non persription sunglasses and I must admit I fell in love with all of them. While some where too big for my head (which wouldn't be a problem if this was a custom order) I must say my favorites were the Percy and the Mabel. I loved the Mabel's unique shape and beautiful gimlet tortoise detail and the Percy had that classic vintage style frame shape.

Want to try on a pair for yourself? It's easy with their home try on program where you can pick any 5 glasses you want and Warby Parker will ship it to you for free (like shown above). After five days you simply pack up the glasses and ship it back, free of charge! Check out the 2013 Winter Collection by clicking HERE with each holiday gift card purchase, a bonus Make-a-Snowman Kit with be included!
